ACES Releases Draft PEI Stewardship Program Proposal for CommentFeb. 3, 2010 - In response to a recent amendment to the Prince Edward Island Materials Recycling Regulations, Atlantic Canada Electronics Stewardship (ACES) has prepared a draft Program Plan Proposal which will see ACES extend services into PEI, tentatively effective July 1, 2010. ACES (NS Program) is currently responsible for the majority but not all (cell phones and other wireless devices excluded) of the electronic materials identified in the PEI Regulations and proposes to address these same materials in its draft program plan for PEI. Prior to submitting a final proposal to the PEI Department of Environment, Energy and Forestry, ACES invites comments from individuals and organizations with an interest in or who may be impacted by or benefit from the draft proposal.
